- My name is Janine and I live in Irvine CA (Orange County). I am married (second time) and have a yours, mine and ours family. The oldest is 22, next (the only girl) 20, then 18, 14 and 11 year old boys. I am a long time crafter but kind of quit for a while as busy life got in the way. I have recently returned to crafting and I realized just how much I missed it and what a big part of me it really is. I enjoy creating with many different items, mixing old and new real and faux, and repurposing items. I am a fabric and bead aholic but I love a bargain and will only buy when I can get a good deal! I also love yard/rummage/estate sales! My husband and I go every Saturday. I love finding vintage items and yard sales are also great places to find items to craft with. As I said, I like vintage things especially pottery, jewelry and buttons. I love rustic/shabby chic/primitive, countryish style with a little bit of retro 40's thrown in. My favorite color is purple but I also love a red, black and white combo. I also collect Scottie dogs...it's a great day when I find a vintage Scottie at a yard sale! ;)
